Notion AI integration

Connect your Notion workspace to an AI chat assistant

Notion stores your data. Sofie Wiki gives you an AI assistant that can search, read, create, and update your Notion pages through natural conversation. No switching tools, no manual copy-paste.

Notion is where your team keeps its documentation, project trackers, and meeting notes. But finding the right page and keeping it current takes time you do not always have. Sofie Wiki bridges the gap with a real MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection to your Notion workspace.

Once connected, the AI assistant in Sofie Wiki can search your Notion pages, read their content, create new pages, and update existing ones. You ask in natural language, and the model calls the right Notion tool to get it done. The integration uses Notion's official MCP server over OAuth, so your credentials stay secure.

You stay in control. Each tool (search, fetch, create, update) can be toggled on or off from Settings. Notion pages and wiki pages coexist in the same assistant. Ask about either, and the model picks the right source.

What you can do with the Notion integration

Search and read Notion pages

Ask the AI to find information in your Notion workspace. It searches pages and returns answers from the content it finds.

Create and update pages

Tell the AI to write a new page or update an existing one. The model handles the structure and content.

Live MCP connection

Powered by Notion's official MCP server over Streamable HTTP. The AI reads the live tool catalog and adapts automatically.

Per-tool enable and disable

Toggle read and write tools independently. Turn on search and fetch for reading only, or add create and update for full access.

Encrypted OAuth tokens

Credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and refreshed automatically. No manual re-authentication.

Coexists with your wiki

Notion pages and wiki pages live side by side in the same assistant. Ask about either, get answers from both.
